Our week has been good.. it's getting less busy because of the holiday season.. everyone is either going away for Christmas or is having family stay with them.. so they don't want to see us!
So the weeks been a little long.. we actually have zone conference tomorrow, it's our big Christmas one! This one is always fun! We are trying to just stay busy during our day, but some days its hard.
I'm grateful for the Christmas feel though! Even though its super hot here! haha
Our investigators are doing great! We taught a lady just yesterday.. it's a funny story.. I learned that God is always in the little details of our lives.. becuase yesterday we had a time where we didn't have anyone to see, so my companion and I were searching through our planners to find someone to see. After a while we settled on a name. I knew though that they didn't want us to come back until after the holidays.. but we both felt we should go. As we parked and started walking to their house, we found that they were all outside having a Christmas party... and at that moment something told me "just keep on walking" haha so we acted like we weren't going to see them and just waved and kept walking! It was a little awkward, but as we kept walking, and I remembered a lady that we found while ago but she was busy and heading to work at that time, so we told her we would come back another day. So we thought we would go and she if she was home. But then when we showed up, her face was a little shocked, she really didn't think we would ever come back! But she was kind enough to let us share our message and after we were finished teaching her, she told us that she was very happy we came back! As tears rolled down her face, she thanked us and said she felt like God was trying to tell her something! As soon as I heard those words I felt prompted to bare my testimony to her, telling her that God loves her and wants to bless her with the best! We all left that lesson feeling the joy and peace Christ offers us all as we let the light of Christ into our lives!
I know that it was by no accident that we felt that we needed to go to the family that was have a party, just to see that we couldn't see them and be in that area at that specific time! I have seen MANY MANY miracles in my mission and I'm always grateful for them! God really does love his children, ALL of them!
As for skyping, I think we are going to start around 8pm.. so that's around 11am your time...and I might call you before that as well but we will see.. and that might be while you are at church.. haha
I'm super excited to talk to you guys and the family! I hope everything is going well!
Love you all, and talk to you soon!
LOVE,
ELDER FONUA
