Everything is great in S.A.! We had a good week though lots of time was spent this week find all the less actives. It's crazy how many people are members, I've seen it in all my areas. The ward list is like 50 pages long and we only have about 5 of those pages of people coming to church. But I guess you can expect that anywhere. Some are just lost and need a friend! :)
This is where I've come to know and love many people! Their faith has helped me push through the tough times. It's hard pushing forward, I don't want to lie, but we just gotta keep pressing forward! :) It's interesting the word "pressing forward", it indicates that there is some resistance that is pushing the opposite direction you are headed, but also implies that it needs immediate action or force. We taught this principle to one of the less active members in the ward, and we shared a talk with him that Jeffery R. Holland gave. I don't know when or where he gave it, but it speaks about continuing to walk forward! He explains "blessings are awaiting you, just hold on, you keep trying! You keep walking. Hold your chin up. It'll be alright in the end. Some blessings come soon, some come late, and some don't come til heaven. But those who embrace the gospel of Jesus Christ, the blessings, they come."
it was interesting to teach it cause the whole time i felt as if i was the one being taught! it reminds me of the scripture found in D&C 50:21-22
everything is good though with the area! its doing well! we have some people on a date for baptism! i havent really been taking pics but ill start this week!
but i hope your week is good!
love you!
