Hello all!
This week has been great! It's getting pretty cold here.. lots of rain and lots of cold wind.. I could see my breath the other day it was so cold.. but yeah it doesn't really snow here just tons of rain. I get a new companion this week his name is Elder Young.. I don't know much about him but heard he's a good missionary. I pick him up on Wednesday.
This week we've been doing super well, bringing back less-actives and bringing people to the knowledge of the truth! We have a guy named Peter that bore his testimony this Sunday and mentioned how grateful he was for the Elders.. (because a couple of months back he was less-active and his children and his wife weren't baptized) he started crying and bore his testimony on the gospel and how it's changed his life and how grateful he was for the Elders for coming over and teaching his wife and kids.. he went from a less active owning a bar to becoming a full time member of the church. Both his wife and kids have been baptized and now we are working on family home evening with them helping with that sort of thing.. the Lord has truly blessed us and his family and I'm grateful to have seen this man and his family grow and become a happy family that has the spirit in there lives. :)
It's been great here in Panorama and I hope to be baptizing some people soon! :) Sad for Elder Kupka though we've found so many amazing people and I want him here as much as our investigators do to witness the fruits of our labors and see them in white and dunked.. I'll definitely miss Elder Kupka and his teachings! I hope to be able to use his wise advice to help the people of may mission and to help build my faith and testimony as well :)
I love the work and the hand of our Master in our daily work here in South Africa!
Hope you all have a great week!
Love,
ELDER FONUA
