This week has been great! Lots of exciting thing this week! Mostly for the ward but I feel like we had a very productive week! We were just able to find a lot of new people this week and got to meet some super awesome people that I feel like are truly interested into the gospel. We've been really needing a new teaching pool! We actually had to call one of the Elders that was serving here before we were to get a better understanding of who they were teaching and to see who they were focusing on.. It helped a lot and gave us a new perspective on the area. After we did that it seemed like the Lord was waiting for us to forget about the things we cant control and to see the big picture, and once we found that, the area and the people started to pick up and we started finding success! What a blessing the Lord has poured on us to be trusting us with so many people to teach and talk to!!
Me and my companion are doing well.. we still don't know who is leaving and who is staying but I think we've come to trust in the Lord and his ways! :)
The ward is also going on a temple trip this weekend which is sweet! We were actually suppose to have a baptism yesterday but the stake had an activity that day and then the ward is going to the temple this week so we had to push it back till next week.. which was hard cause the person we are going to be baptizing has been waiting and has pushed her baptismal date back a lot of times! And when we told her the news that she'll have to be waiting a little longer.. I was scared that she would be very disappointed.. but she wasn't.. she expressed to us that she trusted in the Lord and his timing and that she would wait however long.. what a strong testimony that I almost cried! I was truly humbled to see her so patient and I thought if I was ever that patient.. and that I could always be better with that trusting the Lord and HIS timing! I love this gospel and the simple but powerful experiences and principles that I learn everyday! :)
Please tell Vin that I miss and love him! It is great that he's home now! I can tell he was a great missionary!!
I hope you all have a great week!! Love you much!
Love,
